After a massively successful Kickstarter campaign and a viral Super Bowl commercial, GoldieBlox was on the map for their innovative engineering toys for girls in efforts to close the gender gap in STEM fields. Though, like any good engineers, the GoldieBlox team didn't stop inventing there. The next product line drew inspiration from popular DIY trends on YouTube and showed girls that the process of making arts and crafts projects was filled with STEM concepts.
As the team's Marketing Writer, I wrote promotional copy, video scripts, blogs, and product ads for the company. Below is an array of the ads for the 2019 product launch that blended DIY and STEM. These ads got more than 17 million impressions and helped GoldieBlox make hundreds of thousands in sales during the holiday season. |
